We are excited to announce the launch of Rolodex, the newest product in our Member toolset. Rolodex will help members contact, communicate, and manage connections with other members in our vetted private executive community to help members expand and enrich their network opportunities. Adding Rolodex to our existing member tools, Compass, Concierge, and our Job Marketplace, we have given our members yet another way to grow their careers.

We face increasingly uncertain waters with our careers due to market volatility, automation threats, and longevity improvements.

We have seen fantastic traction so far between our members and the platform; however, we also understand that things are rapidly changing in how executives can maximize their career growth. To support this rapidly changing environment, we (The Suite) needed to expand our product offering. Market volatility and pandemic threats aside, while terrifying and sad, there are longer-term threats that we have to contend with - focused around automation and longevity. In the near term, we estimate that role automation will affect executives in two ways; large tracts of well-understood employment will start to disappear, primarily work focused on repeatable tasks. Secondly, the increasingly fast growth in the rate of technological innovation will leave many in its wake.

While this might not affect an executive’s role security now, not understanding how to grow with automation could leave you looking unprepared. Along with automation, we also see longevity improvements posing a unique threat to executives. While this might sound like a boon in the short term, the reality is that we will need to retire later on than planned - meaning working longer than we anticipate. The story of retiring at 65, with a stable work pension from a company you have worked at for decades, is becoming increasingly scarce.

Building and maintaining sustainable and active relationships with others is a safe harbor.

However - this is by no means all doom and gloom. Executives who take steps now will ensure their future is ripe with new opportunities. See this as a challenge you need to solve with planning, teamwork, incentives, and goals. Those who are willing to redefine their narrative towards purpose will allow you to think in a more upstream nature and focus on really what’s important to you. Exploring new frontiers will enable you to diversify your risk and expand your brand portfolio by creating multiple parallel plans. Finally, reaching out to others to learn more and share stories will give you the psychological benefits of knowing you aren’t in this alone, but will also act as a catalyst to get your name out there - remember - you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take! Following our 3-part plan will allow you to be far better equipped to have the transformation you need to guarantee career success.
