To conquer a job search your job search you will need to do a variety of things such as creating a company target list, crafting your outreach scripts, setting an email followup cadence (as you likely won’t hear back after just one email), optimizing your online profiles for SEO so you can be found more easily, and… prepping to effectively sell yourself once you do get the interview. Sound like a lot? That’s because it is, but don’t worry you don’t have to do all of this by yourself. There are experts that can help you.

“Wait, I don’t need help… do I?”

Egos are an interesting beast, aren’t they? We say that because normally in serving its purpose to “protect” you, it typically only causes you harm. In this case, we are talking about ego in the context of your job search. We get it, you’ve been a CMO for several years, you climbed the ladder of success. Of course you can handle a job search, right? Wrong. Think about it in the following context: You spent 25 years mastering your craft. You can’t expect yourself to be a master at job searching when this is the first time you’ve had to do it (and that’s ok). It’s time you tell your ego to settle down and find someone to guide you through the job search process.

So what does that help look like? Well, you don’t need help clicking the apply button, most people seem to be able to do that just fine. Unfortunately, chances are today’s mass-market solutions won’t give you the results you’re looking for. Job searches are incredibly complex and require an ever-changing balance of persistence and good timing (luck) to get the results you seek. Many solely rely on the previously stated strategy and they wonder how after 6 months of searching, they’re not any closer to finding a job than when they had first started.

Today’s solutions batter you with ads, sales pitches from strangers, and sacrifice your privacy to earn a few extra dollars. You deserve more than that. You deserve access to compensation benchmarking so you can make sure you are paid what you’re worth. You deserve 1 on 1 sessions with job search experts trained to guide you through all of the steps we mentioned earlier. Finally, you deserve to be supported by a network of your peers so when you have a challenge that you can’t solve, the answer is only a click away.

These three pillars are treated as a luxury when in reality they are a necessity for achieving professional growth.

Managing an executive career is incredibly difficult, but it becomes so much easier when you can automate enough of it to free up your time to focus on what matters most... your craft. Are you looking for this level of support?
